Google has announced that it pulls results from Social Media websites, Micro Blogging Sites, News & Blogs. But if you watch closely in the Search Results, it’s often twitter results are displayed. So to start with focus on updating Twitter and try to get ranked in Search Engines.
Obviously the next move from Google would be filtering the Twitter Results from Spammers. So try to get more quality followers and also try to get a unique fan base in twitter, so that Google might not treat you as Spammer

Certainly an interesting quandary. If you find yourself in this kind of situation it's certainly worth taking your time and making incremental changes especially on competitive key phrases as alluded to here.
